Story Development. 

I've been working on this story on and off for about eight years now. This particular site is dedicated entirely to story/world/character development so I can get a firm grounding on who these fictional people in my head are and what exactly they're up to. This is a very slow and working process for me, comments kindly appreciated.

New Character...What do you think of this new character for Caeruleus?

Someone else had pushed through the door opening. Now that Magen could properly see, she noticed that they were in some sort of a pearly white room with a lattice door. Through the slats, she could see a busy atmosphere with people bustling from place to place. Now she focused on the tall wisp of a man who had come into the room. He had a long, sweeping beard with a full head of silvery hair. Long robes rustled over the misted floor and in his outstretched hand he held a tiny golden pocket watch.

            “Time! Time! There isn’t much time! Welcome to Caeruleus I am told you will be perusing our library here today but no time no time to peruse you must hurry quickly! Quickly this way, please! Thank you!”

Magen and Ty were thrust to their feet by some unseen force from behind. Instead of going through the lattice door, the man opened another door in the side of one of the pearly walls. It revealed a steep staircase that seemed to reach into the heavens. They had to rush to keep up with the strange man who seemed to be on a tight schedule.
